Would anyone be interested in a monkey puzzle ring it's approx 6 or 7 inch thick and 20+ inch diameter. It does have a bit of a split along a branch point but may still be of use. If you let me know I will bring it to the next turning session for veiw and price negotiation

I have recently cut a holly tree and have saved a bit of trunk. It's about 3.5ft long and 10 inch diameter. I'm just wandering if anyone would know the best way to dry it out with least chance of splitting or discolouration
